REPORT: WWE announces Bianca Belair and Montez Ford’s Hulu project

Bianca Belair is evolving day by day in the company. She has grown so much in this span of time and will continue to do so in the near future as well considering she continues to work at the same pace. Her growth is not restricted to the ring but has extended beyond that too. 

It wasn’t long back that she hinted at a major project on her way. She never specified what it was but the fans speculated it to be a Hollywood project. Nobody thought that she could be working along with WWE’s partner. Recently, WWE released their 3rd quarter financials and a lot of things came out of the same.

While Vince McMahon’s investigation attracted much of the audience, there was this one news that captured the eyes of many others. WWE’s Nick Khan announced that the company was signing a new project with Hulu. The project would star the current RAW Women’s Champion along with Montez Ford. There weren’t any more details on the same but it is expected to be a reality program.

WWE’s deal with Hulu was about to expire in a short period. Both the parties used the opportunity provided by the WWE 3rd quarter financials to last the contract for a longer duration. WWE’s Chief Financial Officer & Chief Administrative Officer Frank Riddick claimed it to be a short term deal. 

However, Wrestlenomics Brandon Thurston analysed the deal and revealed the possible thoughts that must have gone in the minds of WWE officials before making it a deal. He said, “Sounds like WWE settled for less money from Hulu in exchange for getting the deal to expire.”

Bianca Belair will be facing Bayley this weekend at Crown Jewel. The two women of great skills are expected to deliver a classic. Bianca will be defending the RAW Women’s Championship that she has been holding since WrestleMania 38. She has defeated multiple opponents during this reign and secured her title. 

Bayley returned from injury back at SummerSlam along with Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky. The trio seemed extremely confident while it marched towards the ring. However, Becky Lynch came to Bianca’s support and that led to the trio return back without any attack. The trio formed a faction ‘Damage CNTL’ with Bayley taking the lead. 

Bayley and Bianca Belair have been building heat since SummerSlam. Now, there is a massive opportunity for both the superstars to shine. We’ll have to wait and see which superstar is able to dominate the ring and emerge out as the RAW Women’s Champion.
