Bianca Belair comments on WWE’s last-minute decision to pull Becky Lynch vs. Trish Stratus from the SummerSlam match card
Former Women's Champion Bianca Belair opines on two major women's matches being excluded from the SummerSlam card.

Although the card for SummerSlam is full of incredible matches, the women’s division does not occupy much of it. Rhea Ripley’s Women’s World Championship match and Trish Stratus vs Becky Lynch bout are excluded from the card. Recently, WWE Superstar Bianca Belair was asked about the women’s division getting less focus at SummerSlam. As a result, she stated that she feels content with herself getting the spot and being able to compete there.
Bianca Belair was in talks with WrestlingNewsCo. when she was asked about the Trish Stratus vs. Becky Lynch match not being on the show. The interviewer also mentioned Ripley’s match being excluded from the show and asked Belair her thoughts on this situation. The EST of WWE stated that everybody wants to be on the premium live event, but the competition puts a certain restriction on it. But she also made it clear that the competition makes things more exciting.
Bianca cited how Ronda Rousey vs. Shayna Baszler is also one of those impressive matches she looks forward to. She then added, “You’re gonna feel a certain way if you are a competitor.” She expressed her happiness at being part of the spectacular event.
Belair also stated how the matches on the card are super exciting and can make up for the rest of the matches that did not make it to the match card. Becky Lynch’s feud with Trish Stratus started after WrestleMania 39, when the latter betrayed Becky on an episode of RAW.
As a result, they battled at Night of Champions, where the WWE Hall of Famer emerged victorious. Thus, it was speculated earlier that they would again collide at SummerSlam for a classic match. On the other hand, The Eradicator’s was set to face Raquel Rodriguez in a match in the August 5 spectacle, but it did not come to fruition.
Iyo Sky can cash in her Money in the Bank contract at SummerSlam
Mrs. Money in the Bank Iyo Sky won the briefcase last month at the eponymous event in London. Since then, she has hinted at cashing it on Asuka for her WWE Women’s Championship on SmackDown in various instances. But now she has a golden opportunity to win the title at SummerSlam.
The triple threat match between Asuka, Bianca Belair and Charlotte Flair is set for the WWE Women’s Championship. There is still a lot of ambiguity regarding its outcome. Iyo Sky can possibly cash in when no one would expect it to happen. A suitable moment to cash in her contract is after any of the superstars win the bout.
SummerSlam has always delivered some shocking things and surprises. Thus, either of the Money in the Bank cash in can bring out the ultimate shocker for the WWE Universe. Thus, to play safe and not have The Judgment Day break-up with less build, Iyo can be seen having her moment at SummerSlam.
