“It was nerve-wracking,” Bianca Belair reveals how creating history back in 2022 felt like

Bianca Belair is currently at the peak of her WWE run. She has been the WWE RAW Women’s Champion for more than 10 months now. Being the champ for the red brand, many obstacles came her way but she brushed them off with ease. However, numerous sides to her performance remain hidden from the audience.
WWE held its first-ever Women’s Ladder match back in October 2022 at Extreme Rules. The then and the current RAW Women’s Champion and Bayley were the privileged ones to have received this opportunity. However, speaking to Fightful, Bianca revealed what went through her mind during the same.
Describing the bout in a single sentence, she said, “It was nerve-wracking.” Bayley had been a part of the ladder match while she was a part of NXT but Bianca was being exposed to such an environment for the very first time. For this reason, it is not shocking to believe that she would fear the same to some extent.
Bianca Belair also told the audience that she had never set up a ladder in the ring before their match at Extreme Rules. While the fans may feel it to be child play, Belair broke the ice by saying that the ladders are not light in weight. All the exertion would deprive them of their capabilities and thus would cost them the match.

Bianca Belair also freaked out before the match
Sean Ross also brought out another revelation about the RAW Women’s Champion regarding her match. “I remember before the match started I freaked out because I couldn’t find my title,” she said. Being the champion, Bianca ensures that her every step is filled with perfection.
Bianca Belair‘s walk up to the ring is filled with energy and enthusiasm and it is clearly visible in the eyes of all those witnessing the event. However, while walking up to the ring at Extreme Rules, Bianca forgot that her belts were kept with the authorities to be placed above the ring.
The people had to remind her that she was in a ladder match and she had to win the match to get her belt back. And she did. Bianca Belair retained her title against Bayley and secured a massive win. Her ladder match history will be recalled by many for a large time duration.
