Bianca Belair was scrapped out of her rematch against Asuka for her title loss at Night of Champions. But the interruption of Charlotte Flair and her quick challenge to Asuka for the WWE Women’s Championship gave her the chance instead. The situation further worsened last week when Adam Pearce barred the EST from ringside. Belair cannot be present at ringside during the “Asuka vs. Flair” matchup on next week’s episode of SmackDown.

The segment between Bianca and Adam Pearce on the latest episode of SmackDown saw her frustration increase. She was asked, regarding her defense tactics, if any of them tried to provoke her during the match between Asuka and Charlotte Flair. Belair said that she would retaliate if any of the two women provoked her. As a result, the WWE official banned her from being at ringside during the match next week.

Adam Pearce made it clear that he did not want any interference during the smooth flow of that matchup. And hence, he had to make that decision and ask her to trust him for her sake. Belair’s sarcastic reply had her stating, “Like last time, I should trust you, right?” The former Raw Women’s Champion walked away from him with a pissed-off and distrustful look. She tweeted and expressed her frustration.

Although she was approved to show up after the match ended and challenge the winner, Pearce was successful in letting her down. The segment fueled the long-term storytelling of this rivalry. There has been speculation that she will turn heel in the coming future. The WWE Universe can see the EST come out with a different persona on WWE television in the coming weeks.

Bianca Belair ruled the women’s division for over a year and remained undefeated for 420 days. Since her victory at WrestleMania 38 against Becky Lynch, her stakes have risen, and she has became the top babyface in WWE. Her title reign ended last month at Night of Champions 2023 against Asuka.

On the other hand, Rhea Ripley‘s dominant booking has made her the top heel in WWE. Since her victory at WrestleMania 39 against Charlotte Flair, she has been dominating the women’s division. The current Women’s World Champion is part of The Judgment Day and has a long way to go.

With such stardom and higher success rates, the plans for WrestleMania 40 are being laid out for these two stars. The recent report by Xero News suggests that both stars will collide at The Grandest Stage of Them All. This blockbuster match is something the fans have been hoping for since NXT.
