Bianca Belair stayed true to her morals when she ran out to save Naomi from the brutal attack of Damage CTRL. However, after saving her friend, fans wondered why she didn’t save Bayley, who was in a similar position on the previous episode. Belair gave an interview backstage after SmackDown and made her stance clear about her relationship with The Role Model.
During SmackDown LowDown, Kayla Braxton interviewed The EST of WWE and asked where she stood amid the ongoing rivalry between Bayley and Damage CTRL. She cleared the air by revealing that she only ran out there to save her friend Naomi. Belair’s statement stems from the fact that she still hasn’t forgotten what Bayley did to her when the latter was a part of Damage CTRL.

Talking about Naomi, Belair stated that the 36-year-old acted against her wishes and ended up being in danger. She further added that she couldn’t just leave her alone, surrounded by the ruthless members of the Damage CTRL. Six months ago, Belair was caught in a similar situation when Iyo Sky cashed in her MITB contract and became the Women’s Champion.
Watching her trying to fight Damage CTRL all by herself, I saw myself in her, and I remembered how I felt for two years trying to fight Damage CTRL by myself and wishing there was somebody there to help me, so here I am, couldn't leave my sis hanging, and we're back in it with Damage CTRL!Bianca Belai via SmackDown Low Down
The 34-year-old will compete in a singles match against Dakota Kai on next week’s episode of SmackDown. Whenever a Damage CTRL member wrestles in a match, chaos is ensured. It will be interesting to see whether Belair manages to fend off her opponent or Kai gets the better of her with the help of her teammates.
Becky Lynch called Bianca Belair as her WWE in-ring soulmate
Over the years, Becky Lynch has been a part of some of the best matches in recent history. Most notably, the WWE Universe was highly appreciative of her matches against Bianca Belair and Charlotte Flair. Not only fans, but The Man herself admitted that she could work with them over and over again.

The Man was asked about her in-ring soulmates during her book signing for Premiere Collectibles. She revealed that fans would never be tired of seeing her wrestle with superstars like Flair and Belair. The 37-year-old star called her fabulous and said every time they were in the ring together, they created magic.
And another is Bianca Belair. She’s fabulous. I love stepping in the ring with her. Every time we do, I feel like there’s a little bit of magic that happens.Becky Lynch via LiveSigning

Lynch has a tremendous amount of respect for the 34-year-old star. She was one of the first superstars who came out to support her when fans racially abused her. Their best match arguably came at WrestleMania 38, where Belair defeated Lynch to win the title. The next few weeks will be important for The Irish Lass Kicker, as her autobiography will be released on March 26.
Moreover, she will challenge Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Title at WrestleMania. It will be interesting to see whether The Man dethrones Mami at the Show of Shows or not. Meanwhile, plans for Belair have not been confirmed yet. Only time will tell what transpires on the upcoming episodes of SmackDown.
