Bianca Belair hasn’t defended her RAW Women’s Championship since SummerSlam, where she defended the title against Becky Lynch. Bianca Belair is currently feuding with Bayley, Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky of the stable DAMAGE CTRL. Belair’s feud with Bayley was left unfinished last year as the latter was sidelined for a year due to injury. The Role Model has resumed her feud with Bianca Belair now after returning at SummerSlam along with a stable and now eyes for the RAW Women’s Championship.
Bianca Belair too has Alexa Bliss and Asuka by her side and they too are involved in the feud with DAMAGE CTRL along with Belair. The three women even competed against DAMAGE CTRL at the Clash at the Castle Live event and were defeated at the event by them. This week on RAW, Bayley faced Alexa Bliss and Alexa was accompanied by Asuka and Bianca Belair, whereas Bayley had her DAMAGE CTRL members by her side.
The Match was won by Bayley and after the match both teams were involved in a brawl, with DAMAGE CTRL coming out on top. The end saw Bayley beat Bianca Belair by her finisher rose plant and said that she wants to face her for the Women’s Championship at Extreme Rules, the match is not official yet.
Triple H wants Bianca Belair to be the face of WWE
Bianca Belair has been a major figure now in the women’s division and her rise from an NXT rookie to a WWE Women’s Champion is really commendable. Belair who has worked under Triple H in NXT has now shared her thoughts about him and what he expects from her. Bianca stated that Triple H expects the same from her as he did from her in the NXT Brand. She stated that The Game wants her to be “The EST” of WWE every time she enters the ring. Belair also added that Triple H wants her to be the company’s face and to put a smile on the faces of the people.
“I think that he expects of me the same thing that he expected of me in NXT and that’s just to go out there and be Bianca Belair and be ‘The EST’ every time I step in the ring. He expects for me to be the strongest, the fastest, the roughest, the toughest, the quickest, the greatest, and the best. Now that I’m champion, he expects me to go out there and still be the face of this company, and just go out there and put on great shows for our fans and put smiles on our fans’ faces”.
Bianca Belair had defeated The Role Model last year at WrestleMania Backlash and at the Hell in the Cell. Bayley has never defeated Bianca Belair in a Premium Live event, and it would be exciting to watch the two ladies fight one on one after waiting a year.
