Since their debut back in SummerSlam 2022, Damage CTRL has become a faction that has dominated the entire women’s roster. They arrived on the scene after Bianca Belair defeated Becky Lynch to become the new Raw Women’s Champion. Now a year later, after involvement in a long feud, the EST has taken a vow to take out every single member of Damage CTRL on her path to WWE Crown Jewel.

Belair’s grudge arises from the fact that it was Damage Control who was behind the attack that put her on the shelf for two months. Now fully recovered, the EST returned on SmackDown to save Charlotte Flair from an assault by Damage Control. And now, she has set her sights on the WWE Women’s Championship.

Iyo Sky, with her in-ring prowess and the mentorship of the Role Model, has successfully added the WWE Women’s Championship to her list of accolades. She has already successfully defended the title against big names like Asuka and Charlotte Flair.

The reason behind Bianca Belair’s Absence from WWE

On August 18, on an episode of SmackDown, Bianca Belair received a vicious attack from Damage CTRL. Her knee was the target of this vicious assault, highlighting a potential injury. Fans were later informed that Bianca would remain absent for a few months to fully recover from her injury.

Further analysis revealed that it was a storyline angle. It was initiated to grant the EST some time off from the wrestling ring. Reports from Fightful revealed that the absence was for well-deserved rest due to the regular wear and tear that wrestlers suffer during their time on the road and inside the ring.
