Over the past few months, there have been various alterations to the card for the biggest night of the year. WWE had to deviate from their initial plans due to various unforeseeable circumstances. One such match that changed its course is the Raw Women’s Championship match. According to reports, Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair was supposed to face Charlotte Flair at The Show of Shows. However, there has been a massive change in plans regarding the match due to a former SmackDown Women’s Champion.
Bianca Belair has been a juggernaut ever since winning the Raw Women’s Championship. She has been holding the title for around a year now. According to Fightful Select, the EST of WWE was scheduled to clash with one of the most decorated superstars in the women’s division, Charlotte Flair, at WrestleMania 39. However, Ronda Rousey was the catalyst for the plans’ demise. Things have changed since The Rowdy One sought alternative plans for herself. As a result, it had major implications for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.
Ronda Rousey has had an incredible reign with both of the top titles in the female division. As a result, she desired to take a detour for a breath of fresh air. According to reports, The Rowdy One has her eyes set on the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship for WrestleMania 39. As a result, the company had no choice but to take the SmackDown Women’s Championship from her. This is the reason why the WWE Universe saw Flair return and win the title from Ronda Rousey on the December 30 edition of SmackDown.
Fightful reported that there has been a significant change in plans for both the women’s championships. As a result, Belair would face Asuka for the Raw Women’s Championship at the Showcase of the Immortals. Moreover, Charlotte would defend her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Rhea Ripley. Furthermore, it seems like Ronda Rousey, along with Shayna Baszler, would challenge for the women’s tag team championship at WrestleMania 39.

Who will Ronda Rousey face at WrestleMania 39
The recent episodes of SmackDown had clear implications about Ronda Rousey’s plan for WrestleMania 39. WWE has been involving the Rowdy One with Shayna Baszler in the women’s tag team division. Furthermore, reports indicate that the two of them will compete for the tag team titles on the biggest night of the year.
However, the picture of the women’s tag titles is still obscure. On last week’s SmackDown, Becky Lynch and Lita laid a challenge to the current Women’s Tag Team Champions, Damage Control. Ever since then, there have been various speculations that the tag titles would change hands ahead of WrestleMania. Besides, the WWE Universe wants to see Ronda and Baszler lock horns with Becky and Lita at the Grandest Stage of Them All.
However, this could possibly be one of the matches that attracts eyeballs. Therefore, it will be interesting to see how the card shapes up for the women’s tag team championship.
