UPDATE: Former WWE Champion Big E shares some bad news regarding his injury

Big E is one of the known and entertaining wrestlers in WWE in recent years. The E train has been in WWE for more than 10 years and had achieved a lot in the company during this reign. Big E is an absolute powerhouse and has done both single, as well as tag team, runs in the company in which he finds success in both runs.

He has won Intercontinental Champion once won the Money In The Bank ladder match and even WWE Championship. On the other hand, he won multiple tag team championships over the years with his New Day partners Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston. Big E is currently recovering from an injury and is out of the ring.

Ridge Holland’s belly-to-belly suplex broke Big E’s neck

Ridge Holland injured the neck of Big E in one of the episodes of Smackdown in March where he hit E with a belly-to-belly suplex on the ringside. Since then Big E has been sharing a lot of news about his injury. He recently appeared in an interview with WWE FOX in which he discuss something more about his injury. Big E stated that his injury is looking good now.

Big E has already told everybody that his injury will not need any surgery and will be going to be recovered within a year. E revealed that the problem currently is his C1 spinal bone is not ossifying properly. His C1 bone got fractured and was fully broken and is now not getting repaired fully as it is not getting converted into a full bone.

Big E has also revealed there is also a piece of good news that his nerve is showing zero response to his injury now which means his pain is not there anymore but if his C1 will not be a bone he is not cleared to do some life-threatening spears in the ring. He also revealed that he is hitting the gym for the last two weeks and has been cleared to do even more.

Former WWE Champion said, “It appears to be healing fibrously … It’s good enough that they’re not worried about me in my day-to-day life, they’re cool with clearing me like I don’t need a brace anymore … But, I’m not cleared to, you know, be taking off and hitting suicide spears. They want to take a look at it again after a year … The upside is right now I have no nerve issues, there is no tingling, no weakness. I’ve been in the gym since two weeks after breaking my neck”
