REVEALED : MASSIVE update regarding Johnny Gargano’s WWE return status, how the feeling has changed since Triple H’s takeover

Ever since Triple H headed up the WWE creative, the overall state of the company has shown massive signs of a change and that too in a positive way. Many released superstars who were reluctant to return a few weeks ago under Vince McMahon are now more than willing to make a comeback and same goes for former North American Champion Johnny Gargano. This man was a pioneer in making the NXT’s Black and Gold brand a major success.

Idolizing WWE Hall of Famer The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels, Gargano’s skillset often left many people in awe and even sometimes in a disbelief. He earned the moniker “Johnny Takeover” for delivering some of the most emphatic and career-making performances at those marquee NXT pay-per- view events. Even though its just not fair enough to count the number of great matches he’s been a part of during his active days, some of the extraordinary performances can still be highlighted out from that lot.

According to Cagematch.net ratings, Johnny Gargano’s best ever match till date came against Andrade Cien Almas at NXT Takeover: Philadelphia and this being just one of many elite-level works he’s done in that ring. Before his NXT contract ended, Johnny Gargano was a part of the faction known as The Way which included Theory, Dexter Lumis, Indi Hartwell and his own wife Candice Lerae.

Probably in his most funniest storyline he’s ever been a part of, Gargano was seen following Dexter and Indi Hartwell on their Honeymoon like a detective and was even caught up by Dexter Lumis in their hotel room. At NXT Wargames last year, Gargano’s Black and Gold team was defeated by Bron Breaker’s NXT 2.0 side to officially mark the end of old OG NXT.

Johnny Gargano could soon end up returning to WWE

Gargano didn’t left WWE on any bad terms unlike other released superstars and even in his case, the company was willing to offer him a brand new contract to resign Johnny Wrestling with them. The reason behind Gargano not staying with them was due to the birth of his baby boy who was later named as Quill. Papa John wanted to spend quality time with his family and didn’t wanted to wrestle during that phase.

But now, when he’s seen his baby grow up in front of his own eyes and got some much needed family time away from wrestling, it could be about time when Johnny Takeover finally decides to resume his wrestling passion. Reports suggest that considering the fact that Hunter is running WWE creative now, Johnny Gargano is once again willing to return to WWE. If would be interesting to see whether he really ends up being at Hunter’s territory or not.
