Interviewer Kayla Braxton has been a constant on WWE’s backstage segments for a long time now. She is currently a backstage interviewer for SmackDown and also hosts WWE’s The Bump show alongside Matt Camp. But a recent update shared by herself states that she is stepping down from the position of host at Bump. Where she also made clear her future in WWE after receiving responses from the WWE Universe on her staying in the company.

Often stated as Paul Heyman’s alleged girlfriend, Kayla Braxton announced Megan Morant would replace her as the host of WWE’s The Bump. After the announcement on Twitter, fans reacted with concern and misinterpreted that Braxton was eventually leaving WWE. But Kayla clarified as she wrote, “Don’t worry. I’m not leaving WWE. ?” followed by a GIF from the movie ‘Wolf of Wall Street’ where the protagonist Jordan Belfort is screaming and making a huge announcement.

Braxton took to Twitter to announce that she is being replaced by Morant as the host of WWE’s The Bump. She not only announced it through her official tweet but also mentioned it in her last episode of The Bump show alongside Camp and Morant. Kayla added that she is not completely leaving the show, as she will be doing some cool content that will be rolling into the show every week. While Megan was sitting by her side, Braxton handed over her responsibility for hosting to her.

Braxton stated in the episode that she has been the host of this show for 240 episodes since its inception in 2019. Camp and the other host of the show thanked her for being an incredible host and stated that they all will miss her. WWE’s The Bump made its debut on October 2, 2019, with the in-studio guest being the then-Universal Champion Seth Rollins. While the show has kept its consistency ongoing by premiering on WWE’s YouTube channel on Wednesdays.

Megan Morant commented on being the new host for WWE’s The Bump

With Kayla Braxton stepping down from the position of host of WWE’s The Bump, Megan Morant is announced to be her replacement. Morant has also been a co-host of the show for quite a while now, alongside Matt Camp and Kayla. Megan then added how she feels about taking over the reins of the show after Kayla.

Morant started by saying that she is honored to have even sat in the chair to host this incredible show. Shen then thanked Kayla Braxton by saying, “You’re the reason I even got on the show in the first place!”. While she added that Braxton’s presence has made the show last for these long years and be a success. 

Morant then stated that Kayla Braxton is that unusual woman who supports the other woman and keeps everyone up. Megan then glorified the former host’s dynamic personality, saying, “You make every room you walk into a little bit brighter!” She then concluded her statement by thanking her for being there on behalf of all the crew members too.
