The official BLP Twitter account announced the hilarious firing of referee Jeremy Tillema, which stated that anyone who speaks negatively about Swift will get fired.

“We have decided to release @JeremyTheRef from BLP because he talked bad about Taylor Swift. Words have consequences.”

Mike Blanton also replied to the post, saying “Zero Tolerance.” Black Label Wrestling Promotion is an Indiana-based wrestling promotion, founded in 2017.

There are three championships in the promotion – the BLP Heavyweight Championship, the BLP Midwest Championship, and the BLP Tag Team Championship. The current BLP Heavyweight Champion is Calvin Tankman.

Referee Jeremy Tillema replied to his purported termination with a series of amusing tweets. Tillema mocked Taylor Swift fans and BLP CEO Mike Blanton. He added he has boycotted and protested the BLP since it has long operated under the authoritarian Swiftatorship. He also responded by posting a clip from The Dark Knight in which Batman quotes Harvey Dent: “You Either Die A Hero, Or You Live Long Enough To See Yourself Become The Villain.”

Tillema further said that change must occur before this promotion crumbles and urged everyone to join him in this protest until the change happens. Tillema also called out Taylor Swift’s fans as irrational and violent in one of his replies to a wrestler Shazza Mckenzie.

Mike Blaton hasn’t yet responded to Tillema’s tweets, and if he does, we sure know they are going to be hilarious. Meanwhile, Taylor Swift’s tenth Studio Album, Midnights, was released on October 21st.
