Bobby Fish hosted the special awards of "Undisputed Podcast," in which he claims that Austin Theory is the most emerging star of the year.
It’s the first month of the new year, and it is the time when wrestlers and fans rewind all the best memories of the last year and hope to make many more in the next eleven months. Bobby Fish, a former WWE NXT star famously known for his style and appearance in the ring, came up with some interesting facts about wrestling. Bobby Fish hosted the special awards for “Undisputed Podcast,” in which he claimed that his former NXT partner Austin Theory is the emerging star of the year.
He stated that his improvement over the year has been impressive, as he is currently the United States Champion. However, Fish claimed he rose from an average star hoping for some ring time on WWE RAW to one of the roster’s main stars.
He talked about how he shared time with him in NXT and claims that his outstanding personality and hard work have started to pay off. His transition from being an average star to being part of the main roster is incredible, and his career is promising. He claims that Austin Theory can be one of the WWE greats of this generation.
“I spent a little of time when he was coming into ‘NXT’ with him, Fish said. [We did] some bumping around and stuff. He’s just a good dude [and a] talented guy.Just bumping had to be uncomfortable, let alone anything involving [the use of his pectoral]. Hats off to Cody for just being a gamer.”
Bobby Fish said that the second player’s performance that he was impressed by was Cody Rhodes when he faced Seth Rollins earlier last year in June. That was his favorite match of the year. However, he acknowledges Cody’s never-back-down attitude as he continued to fight after his shoulder injury, earning the respect of everyone. Cody is expected to make a return to the ring this year.

As a part of The Undisputed Era, Bobby Fish had a successful run as the NXT equivalent of Triple H. After leaving WWE in August last year, he decided to join AEW and met his comrades, Kyle O’Reilly and Adam Cole. But his time there didn’t last long, even after a positive start. He left the industry as the company decided not to extend his contract.
Bobby Fish demanded more money, and he couldn’t agree on the financial aspect of the AEW contract. He wanted more recognition as part of the Undisputed Era. Bobby Fish and his agent couldn’t agree because of economic problems. However, Fish joined Impact Wrestling after leaving AEW in September 2022 and has successfully revived his wrestling career.
