Bobby Lashley is one of the toughest wrestlers in WWE history. The All-mighty has a physique unlike any other and is the epitome of dominance. Apart from being a wrestler, Lashley has also worked as an actor, playing minor roles in films.
Bobby Lashley recently said in an interview with SideWalk Entertainment that once his initial stint with WWE ended, he focused on himself even more. Bobby talked about the movies he was in and how the roles he played were usually minor.
They always presented Bobby Lashley as the huge bad guy who was eventually killed. He received substantial offers from Mortal Combat and Stranger Things. But he refused to work for them because he believed he would have better opportunities after retiring from professional wrestling.
Bobby Lashley said, “I did a handful of movies when I was in-between when I was fighting for a while, from my first run in WWE to my second run. I did about four or five (movies). Little, small parts. They needed that big bad villain to come in there, and I played that part. Of course, I got killed every time. I was offered things afterward. I was offered Mortal Kombat. There was Stranger Things.”
Bobby Lashley reveals his future acting plans
Bobby discussed whether he wanted to pursue acting now in the same interview. In his second run in WWE, he revealed attending acting classes. He even has some additional projects in the works that he will focus on later.
Bobby stated he wants to have a good fighting run in WWE. When he believes he is not quick enough like before, he will stop wrestling. After that, he’d go to Hollywood and possibly establish a career as an actor like other former WWE stars such as The Rock, John Cena, and Dave Bautista.
