The Ring General Gunther has been dominating WWE for almost two years now. His reign as the Intercontinental Champion has been legendary. Although Gunther has defeated most of the names on the roster for the title, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T believes he might have an epic showdown against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania.

On his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T stated that, according to him, WWE should book Gunther vs. Brock Lesnar as the main event of WrestleMania Night 1. He added that this match is a showdown between two brawny superstars. Moreover, Booker confidently expressed that Lesnar and Gunther could steal the show at the Showcase of Immortals.

As of now, Gunther is all set to defend his Intercontinental Championship against The Miz. As for the Beast Incarnate, he is rumored to return for the Royal Rumble PLE next month in WWE.

Gunther vs. Brock Lesnar is a dream match in professional wrestling. The two stars carry a strong aura and star power. Recently, wrestling legend Disco Inferno expressed his views about this match, also stating his pick for the winner.

During his appearance on the K100, Inferno stated that Gunther would be a wise choice as a winner for the match between the two Goliaths. He supported the statement by saying that Lesnar is a part-timer and the fans are invested in his next ventures. It is less likely that a loss would affect the aura and personality of the Beast Incarnate.

I think you actually have to have Gunther go over. Brock doesn't need any wins. He shows up part-time, he does good TV, gets ratings.
