“I’m old school,” Booker T recaps his incredible experience from this year’s Royal Rumble

Life is so uncertain and same can be said about the Royal Rumble. No one can preempt who’s going to come out of that curtain. So being said, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T recently recalled his awe-inspiring Rumble experience, this past Saturday. As known, he entered at 21st spot as a surprise entrant. As soon as The Alamodome heard that music, they came to life.
The entire arena popped big for the current NXT commentator. While walking down to that aisle, Book looked absolutely jacked with perfectly toned up muscular build. However, for all who’re wondering how this came up, y’all can have the answers now. Speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T revealed that he received the call to be in the Rumble match while being on the kickoff show.
“I was sitting at the table at the Kickoff show and I got a text message and it was the invite telling me, ‘Book, you’re in the Rumble’ and me, I’m old school dog, I’m old school. I went down in a Winnebago, right? I would’ve won that damn Rumble if I would’ve just been able to prepare properly. That last-minute text message definitely slowed me down a lil bit.”
As noted from above, the former World Heavyweight Champion had no prior time to prepare himself for the match. Despite all of that, Booker T went in there as raw as he could and had fun. The crowd literally ate up every single movement he did inside that ring. That party although didn’t last longer as Booker T got eliminated within minutes by Gunther.

Booker T recently praised Roxanne Perez for her achievement
The day Roxanne won that NXT Women’s Championship from Mandy Rose, the WWE legend Booker T succeeded in life as a teacher. For the unversed, Perez is a former student in Book’s own wrestling school known as Reality of Wrestling. Also, ROK-C won that ROW Women’s Title back there to kickstart her career.
Booker strongly considers Perez as his daughter more than just a student. She’s been making her wrestling dad proud each passing day and the hearts automatically melts down at gazing such sights. When Perez captured the NXT Women’s Title back on December 14 last year, Booker T tweeted out how she’s always been a champion.
Coming this Saturday at NXT Vengeance Day, Roxanne Perez will defend her gold against Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne. It’s going to take a special effort from the champ to sneak through the unforgiving wrath of Toxic Attraction members.
