The most recent episode of NXT had one of the most brutal endings in the show’s history. Bron Breakker hit his opponent, Von Wagner, with steel steps on his head. However, for the audience at home, the screen was intentionally cut off before they could see it. Despite that, fans in attendance captured the footage, which showed Booker T reacting to the gnarly attack by Breakker.

As many might know, the Hall of Famer is an active part of the commentary team for the Gold brand. He was petrified as the second-generation superstar seemingly botched the act and dismantled Wagner’s head. Booker T’s speechless expressions told the whole story, with paramedics immediately coming to the aid of the injured superstar.

Shawn Michaels immediately rushed onto the scene as well. Furthermore, he ordered Bron Breakker to leave the arena. WWE later provided an update on Von Wagner, stating he checked out at a local hospital. All in all, it was one of the most chaotic endings to a show in a long time.

The Miz is a veteran in the wrestling industry, having served almost two decades in the WWE. Recently, he has garnered praise from wrestlers and fans online for his work ethic. WWE Hall of Famer Booker T showed his respect for the two-time Grand Slam Champion.

Speaking on The Hall of Fame podcast, the legend described The A-Lister as one of the all-time greats in the company. “He’s going to go down as one of the all-timers just by being the guy that has won by attrition,” he claimed. Furthermore, he stated that the 42-year-old never complains about his role and always gets the job done.

“So that’s why I give Miz so much credit, because he’s been a guy that’s been in the game for a long time and he knows what it means to be in the game,” Booker T said. The Miz holds the argument to be a future Hall of Famer for his phenomenal career in the Stamford-based promotion.
