Bray Wyatt passed away at the age of 36, leaving a void in the wrestling industry. Last night’s SmackDown was a special tribute show for the WWE superstar. There were several wrestlers and personnel present to commemorate his remarkable career. One of the superstars who attended the event was Bray’s longtime friend, Braun Strowman

In fact, he and Erick Rowan shared a special moment on stage. Afterwards, the Monster Among Men posted an Instagram story and revealed he got a tattoo to honor his brother’s legacy. The photo depicted the famous Wyatt logo engraved on his left arm, thus proving the strong bond he shared with Bray Wyatt.

Braun Strowman reacted to the demise by thanking the Eater of Worlds for helping him rise in the company. Furthermore, he claimed that he was honored when Bray asked him to be Knash Sixx Rotunda’s godfather. Finally, the 39-year-old told his friend that they would see each other down the road. “I LOVE YOU HOOT!!!”, wrote Strowman as a message to Wyatt.

It was previously reported by Fightful that Strowman and Rowan were flown in specially for the tribute show. As a result, several plans were nixed and meetings were put on hold during the promotion. The Wyatt Family helped create a close friendship between all four members. Moreover, they were always supportive of each other throughout their careers.

On the September 5 episode of RAW, Braun Strowman made his return to the WWE. The 39-year-old had been released from the company during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, he was welcomed back under the new Triple H regime. Since his return, Braun has faced the likes of Gunther and Ricochet, eventually forming a tag team with the latter.

Unfortunately, the Monster Among Men was ruled out with an injury in early May. During the SummerSlam weekend, Ricochet provided an important update in regards to his recovery. “He’s recuperating, he’s doing fine. I know he’s ready to get back, I can only imagine he’s ready to get back,” revealed the high flyer in an interview on Ten Count Media.

The pair had formed a popular tag team earlier this year. Surprisingly, it was a back-and-forth social media argument that led to them joining forces. Strowman and Ricochet competed in the Showcase Fatal 4-Way tag team match at WrestleMania. However, they failed to capture the win. Strowman’s last televised bout was on the May 1 episode of RAW against The Alpha Academy.
