It was recently announced by WWE CCO, Triple H, that Windham Rotunda, better known to WWE fans as Bray Wyatt, has passed away. This came as a shock to everyone in the wrestling community, as Wyatt was only 36 at the time of his passing. The entire wrestling industry is in a state of utter disbelief, as Wyatt’s passing will leave a big scar.
Triple H wrote in his tweet that he was informed by WWE Hall of Famer Mike Rotunda, a.k.a. IRS, about Bray Wyatt’s passing. Mike is the father of Windham and former WWE Superstar Bo Dallas. The reason for his sudden demise was not revealed at the time of the announcement. However, Sean Ross Sapp has now reported that Rotunda passed away due to a sudden cardiac arrest.
Wyatt had been out of action since March, and the reason for his hiatus was never specified by officials. In the following months, no reports could confirm the timeline for Bray’s return, as the condition of his health was unknown. Sean Ross Sapp also reported that Wyatt had COVID, which exacerbated his heart issues. The recovery was going well until his sudden passing, which took everyone by surprise.
Since the announcement, fans and fellow wrestlers from all the promotions in the world have come together to pay their condolences to Windham Rotunda. The former Universal Champion was considered to be one of the greatest minds of his generation. WWE was often criticized by fans for not utilizing Wyatt’s talents to their limits.
