WWE is the hottest commodity right now than they've been in years. The skyrocketing metrics are an embodiment of the juggernaut's current boom.

Whether WWE is on the cusp of a wrestling boom remains a subjective matter. However, if the numbers do indicate anything, the Stamford-based promotion is firing on all cylinders right now. Several wrestling journalists have claimed that the company is indeed at the zenith of its popularity since the early 2000s. They’ve been shattering their own records to pave the way for new ones.
Brian Gewirtz, who’s been a creative head writer for WWE, rules out any claim that goes against WWE’s current success. While speaking on The Masked Man Show, Brian gave a trifecta of reasons for why WWE’s booming at the moment. At first, he mentioned the mammoth television rights deal the company has secured. Gewirtz stated that what once was an aspiration for them has now turned into reality.
The company was trying to make their events a necessity to watch live. While Brian was there, they imagined it; however, today they’re living it. Next, he gave props to WWE for switching over to TV-PG and watering down their product’s vulgarity.
That has enabled more parents to feel comfortable sitting back and watching the show with their kids. Last, but certainly not least, the SVP of Seven Bucks Productions lauded the company for revolutionizing their women’s division. Back in the Attitude Era, their state was miserable.
Females didn’t get to make their way on television, except for Sable, who as well disgruntled many top male stars then. However, today, it has turned around completely. Women’s wrestling is quite possibly in the best possible hands and is only going to get better from here. “It’s not even comparable to the way it was treated and presented in the Attitude Era,” said Brian Gewirtz.

WWE breaks the all-time gate record for WrestleMania 40

Continuing their rampant streak, WWE has broken yet another all-time record. The company sold over 91,000 tickets for both nights of WrestleMania 40 on the very first day of ticket sales. That has enabled them to amass a whopping $21.5 million, surpassing their previous gate record they set in Los Angeles for WrestleMania 39.
It’s a new record for wrestling in general, and WWE is chasing to sell out both of their nights for WrestleMania in Philadelphia relatively soon. Needless to say, The Bloodline has to be the catalyst for the inaccessible growth WWE has seen over the past three years. Not only that, the company has created multiple draws, including Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Rhea Ripley, and LA Knight, just to mention a few of them.
