Brock Lesnar and Daniel Cormier could collide at WrestleMania: Sources
Brock Lesnar is one of the biggest stars that the company has and his mere presence is enough to pull up huge crowds to stadiums and arenas. While WWE’s one of the major premium live events, Extreme Rules ,is just around the corner, the company is now focusing on building up excitement for their upcoming show at Saudi Arabia which is titled Crown Jewel.
WWE has already announced a big title match for the event where the ultimate social media icon Logan Paul will challenge The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
Coming back to Extreme Rules, one of the most talked about matches is the fight pit match where Seth Rollins will square off against Matt Riddle. Not only is the match important as per the heated rivalry between the two stars, but it is also in the limelight as UFC Legend Daniel Cormier will be the special guest referee for the match.
Now, if one watches UFC he might be aware that Cormier always wanted to square off against Lesnar in a big fight but unfortunately the match couldn’t happen.
But, now Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer feels that the two rivals might be heading for a big encounter at the grandest stage of them all WrestleMania.
While, Meltzer is sure of the fact that Cormier won’t be going full time WWE considering his age, he might be interested in doing a match with Lesnar and that too at WrestleMania.
Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer said-“Daniel will never go full-time, I’m sure he will never do full-time WWE wrestling, but would he do a match at WrestleMania? I could see it. Would he do it with Lesnar? I could see it. He’s a big wrestling fan, he might wanna do it.”
Cormier’s surprise entry at the Extreme Rules just might be the opportunity which can grant him a match against Lesnar. If the match really happens one can only imagine the intensity and the amount of crowd it’ll bring to the SoFi Stadium in Hollywood.
