Steve Austin turned 59 on Monday, and the birthday wishes did not stop for one of the greatest to ever do it. Last night on Raw, WWE also put up an official graphic to bestow birthday greetings on The Hellraiser. However, one man rather seemed to confer a premonition on Stone Cold. Taking to his X account, Bronson Reed first venerated Steve Austin as a GOAT while jumping on the bandwagon of issuing birthday wishes to Austin.

But it didn’t take long for Reed to configure his real intentions. In the same post, he affirmed that the next TSUNAMI is going to flatten The Texas Rattlesnake. For those who have followed the Aussie bulldozer during his matches on Raw, Bronson has one of the best-looking finishing maneuvers in what he calls a TSUNAMI. He has downed numerous opponents by pancaking their guts all the way up from the top rope.

It appeared like Bronson Reed was hellbent on making the biggest splash of his career by calling out the legendary Texan, Stone Cold Steve Austin. However, there’s a catch. The 35-year-old year cleared up the air by following up on his wording. Reed iterated that he’s going to pay homage to the Attitude Era trailblazer the next time he hits the TSUNAMI to anyone.

Well, it’s been a while since the 59-year-old has appeared on WWE television. It was well over a year ago when he beat Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 38. Austin followed up on the gravy train and stunned Vince McMahon on the second night of the pop-culture extravaganza at the AT&T stadium.

Is WWE prepping CM Punk for a match against Steve Austin?

A few weeks ago, a report from Fightful Select noted that WWE officials were hopeful of potentially having CM Punk face Steve Austin before the latter hangs up the boots for good. Punk and Austin traded some barbs back in 2013.

However, Stone Cold’s physical ailment did not allow him to get physical, and considering a match to happen at that point would’ve been detrimental. However, the time has changed, as has Steve Austin’s well-being.

He might not have a prevailing encumbrance, but that doesn’t mean he’s dying to get back inside the squared circle at the brink of his 60s. In some of his recent interviews, Austin has stated that he’d like to continue doing business with WWE, but that may not be in an in-ring capacity.
