A legal complaint by Janel Grant, an ex-WWE employee, filed against Vince McMahon had domino effects. The lawsuit filed in a federal court in Connecticut had odious allegations that accused the former WWE Chairman of s*xual trafficking. One of McMahon’s closest allies, Bruce Prichard, has broken silence on the matter.
Appearing alongside Conrad Thompson on ‘Something to Wrestle‘ podcast, the incumbent WWE executive gave a well-orchestrated answer. Firstly, he clarified how he doesn’t have the liberty to disclose any legal matters. Further, Bruce affirmed that he’s neither named in the suit nor sued. Prichard honed the US federal system and backed it to serve justice where it’s due.

Bruce’s co-host, Thompson, at one point wondered whether WWE had any say in regards to Prichard’s public appearances until the company was under judicial scrutiny. Drawing the curtains on it, the higher-up iterated that he’s not bound by any means other than the fact that he’s a WWE employee and his ineptness to say any further.
I'm not involved. Not being sued. I'm not accused of anything. It's a legal matter, and as I said to you (Conrad Thompson), sometimes it is as simple as - for those who believe, an explanation is needed, for those that don't, no explanation will do. Let the rest of it sit in the hands of the fine legal system that we have here in the United States of America.Bruce Prichard on lawsuit against Vince McMahon
Over the years, Prichard’s been notorious for being Vince McMahon‘s right hand. Multiple instances have underscored the administrative pull Bruce has had in the company, despite not being born as a McMahon. Back in 2019, WWE named Prichard the combined creative force of Raw and SmackDown. However, once Triple H was made WWE’s Chief Content Officer, Bruce was entitled to report to The Game.
Ronda Rousey called out Vince McMahon after his allegations gained steam
Shortly after Vince McMahon resigned as the Executive Chairman of TKO’s Board of Directors, more details fell into place. Former UFC ace and WWE Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey lashed out at her ex-boss.

Rousey called Bruce Prichard Vince’s avatar. Moreover, she said that until Bruce is there, McMahon will have influence. She also confirmed that even after McMahon initially retired from WWE in mid-2022, he was calling the shots through Bruce Prichard.
Considering Ronda worked in WWE for years and was one of their top stars, she knew what was going on behind the scenes during her stay there. The ex-Judoka had her last match against Shayna Baszler at SummerSlam last year.
