Butch reveals that his current gimmick has given him a “Different edge to his Personality”

Butch is having a great time in WWE as a part of the Brawling Brutes. The Brawling Brutes have been on a roll since defeating The Imperium at the Extreme Rules Premium Live Event. Each of the six men gave phenomenal performances at the event, and each of them received the desired crowd pop at the event.
Butch has been showcasing his talent as a main roster guy, and fans are loving his work. The Former NXT UK champion has wrestled extensively all over the world and worked for numerous independent promotions.
Butch made his WWE debut in 2016 and became the NXT UK Champion by defeating Tyler Bate in May 2017 at WWE NXT TakeOver: Chicago. He held the title for 685 days before losing to Walter at NXT TakeOver: New York. Butch made his main roster debut in March of this year on SmackDown Brand.
He formed an alliance with Ridge Holland and Sheamus, and together they formed The Brawling Brutes. Sheamus has credited Butch and Holland for reinvigorating his passion for wrestling, which has now gone back to level 10.

Butch says that he was confident of getting the people to react to him
During a recent appearance on The Ringer show, Butch said that he is sure that his name change and character change were done with best intentions and that he has been loving some parts of his current character.
He stated that he loves being a part of The Brawling Brutes, and while being a part of it, he has been able to display his range and said that it has given him a different edge to his personality. He said that the dressing style was an overhaul and wasn’t sure how people would react, but then he thought of giving his best and now he is confident that he can get people to react no matter what.
“To be honest, I think sometimes the waters get muddied with it. I’m sure the name change and the character change and all that kind of stuff was done with the best intentions. I really do believe that they felt like that was better for me, and honestly, this side of it, there’s parts of this character that I’ve grown to love. I love this group that we have. It’s also given me a first, I was able to show range, and now it’s given me a different edge to my personality.”
Butch and Ridge Holland recently won the number one contender’s match for the Undisputed Tag team Championship but failed to win the Unified Tag team championship from the Usos.
