Champion Nolan King of MMAjunkies reported that Cain Velasquez, the Former WWE star and former two-time UFC Heavyweight champion, is granted bail for one million USD after being charged with an attempt to murder. King has now provided an update on the situation, reporting that Velasquez’s request is officially granted.
Apart from the procedures, Former WWE Star and his attorney, Ed Sousa, presented their request before Judge Daniel T. Nishigaya. They requested to compete at an AAA Worldwide professional wrestling event on December 3 in Mullet arena on the campus of Arizona State. He is currently under travel restrictions and a variety of other bail conditions.
Cain Velasquez’ legal team revealed he will be GPS-tracked and must pay fees for police officers to accompany him on the trip. Judge Arthur Bocanegra heard from both the Former WWE Star’s defense attorney and a district attorney representative, Leigh Frazier.
Despite objections from the district attorney, the judge ruled that the 40-year-old could take part in the event without being GPS-tagged. Because of the removal of his GPS tag during his bail period of four days, Velasquez will now leave on December 1st, with Judge Bocanegra ruling that he must hire a police officer for work detail and pay the police officer’s fees.
