Candice LeRae has always been a Triple H girl. Since her days back in NXT, Hunter knew something was special in her. Especially for a woman who decided to become a wrestler while at 6, seeds were planted long ago. Currently, LeRae is performing on Monday Night Raw as a babyface. Even though she first debuted on the red brand in September, The Poison Pixie went on a mysterious hiatus with WWE, shortly after.
Several reports claimed that Candice might’ve suffered a minor injury and nothing more. But here’s the thing. More than just being a sprain, Mrs. Gargano actually had a freak accident. During a chat with Sam Laprade, the former NXT Women’s Tag-Team Champion recalled that scary mishap.
“I just had a freak accident happen not that long ago. We’re always taking a risk when we step into the ring, no matter what we do. It is very taxing on our bodies. I’m a bit more…having a son now, it’s a bit more scary for me because when I do get hurt, it affects him now.”
As mentioned above, getting caught with such unfortunate sights is a lot more scary to Candice LeRae now. After all, she has a baby to take care of. The Poison Pixie admitted how she had that daredevil mindset before welcoming her first child with Johnny Gargano. More than just being a WWE Superstar, she’s a mother first and her hesitancy in going all-out during her matches is fairly justified.

Candice LeRae has a massive opportunity on tonight’s WWE Raw
A fatal-4-way is set for tonight’s show in Orlando. That will see Candice LeRae, Mia Yim, Piper Niven and Carmella compete for an opportunity to qualify for the Elimination Chamber match in Montreal this month. The already qualified/announced names include Asuka, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Natalya and Nikki Cross. Winner would receive a direct ticket to challenge Bianca Belair for the Raw Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 39.
As far as Candice LeRae goes, she actually has a great chance at outclassing her opponents in that high-stakes matchup, less than 6 hours away. Keeping in mind her most recent run as a singles player on Raw, it seems like she’s finally settling her nerves on the main-roster. Although she’d have to ace the friendly obstacle of Mia Yim in tonight’s outing, it’s about every woman for herself at the end of the day.
