“That’s my goal,” Carmella reveals the next step in her life following WWE return

If y’all look around, when WWE did the brand split back in 2016, they majorly brought-in several newer faces. One of the most significant turnovers since then is Carmella. She initially created a splash on SmackDown, feuding with a veteran like Nikki Bella, that got Mella into the fold. She did enough to outshine the longest reigning Divas Champion in WWE history. And today, Carmella is a well-established name on the main-roster.

However, the past 1 year in her life hasn’t been the best. At first, she suffered a huge blow during a live event in Charleston last year, which sidelined her for months. This was the first major occasion in her WWE journey to kept her away from in-ring competition for so long. But, that hiatus could’ve been cut short if she had not suffered a miscarriage. When the former SmackDown Women’s Champion was about to welcome her first child with Corey Graves, the couple faced a totally uncalled experience.

Mella later made the tragedy public in December via her Instagram post. She would thank each and everyone out there who poured in their unconditional support for The Princess of Staten Island. Given that she’s now fully back in the fold, Carmella plans to have a family once again in foreseeable future. During a recent chat with Popculture.com , the 35-year-old discussed the balance she needs to have with her work and personal life.

“It was my first time with time off in almost 10 years. So I was finally able to step away from the grind, and I really got refocused on what’s important in life. I would love to have a baby. So that is with my balance between work and home, I want to be able to do it all.”

The case to fulfill her destiny for Carmella starts tonight at the Elimination Chamber. She have to go through five other women inside that sadistic structure to earn herself a Raw Women’s Championship match at WrestleMania 39. A lot of input needs to be given in such high-stakes showdown. For those who’re unaware of Carmella’s previous accolades in WWE, take a chill pill guys.

She’s been involved in numerous high-stakes battles. To add in her name, Carmella won the first ever Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match, before successfully cashing-in on Charlotte Flair. Tonight in Montreal, Mella needs to trade some heavy blows with Asuka, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Nikki Cross and Natalya. If she manages to emerge victorious, Mella will head to the Showcase of the Immortals as the number 1 contender for Bianca Belair’s Raw Women’s Title.
