NXT Halloween Havoc host Shotzi spun the wheel to determine that Apollo Crews and Greyson Waller will square off against each other in a Casket Match.

Apollo Crews‘ return to WWE NXT didn’t set well with Grayson Waller as he immediately picked a feud with him after questioning his presence on the show. After playing a few mind games the two clashed on NXT 2.0 where Waller tried to permanently damage Crew’s vision for the rest of his career.

Therefore, Crews and Waller decided to face each other again at The Halloween Havoc but this time Crews said that things are going to be under control. It was revealed that Waller will be facing Crews in a Spin The Wheel Match on The Spookiest Night of the year.

The Undertaker’s name has been widely associated with the classical match as the first ever Casket Match took place at Survivor Series 1992, in which Undertaker defeated Kamala. Since then a total of 19 Casket Matches have taken place in WWE with the 20th one being on the NXT Halloween Havoc.

The last Casket Match before this took place at The Greatest Royal Rumble event in Saudi Arabia where The Undertaker took on Rusev and defeated him to end The Rusev Day. Fans have been demanding the return of classical matchups for such a long time and it seems like under the new regime everyone’s requests are going to get fulfilled.

Other matchups such as a Buried Alive Match, Ring of Fire and Inferno Matches are also waiting for a return. With rumours of the company bringing the old school Pay-per-views back next year has got the people talking about some great matches which have great potential.

Though it now needs to be seen when fans are going to see these matches on the main roster and what significant changes the company is looking forward to bringing in its programming as the new regime continues to grow under Triple H.
