Last week on Raw, The Judgment Day interrupted Gunther, vowing to bring the Intercontinental Championship to the faction. On the latest episode, Dominik Mysterio squared off against The Ring General. However, the champion proved why he is one of the toughest superstars to beat as he made Dom tap out. Later on the show, Gunther was interviewed by Rhea Ripley‘s alleged ex-girlfriend, Cathy Kelley.
Evidently, the backstage personality looked happy while asking The Ring General about his win over “Dirty” Dom. Kelley and Mami have been engaged in an on-and-off relationship. The pair has often interacted online, openly expressing their thoughts on their relationship status. A while ago, Ripley revealed that she would recruit Kelley and ring announcer Samantha Irvin to The Judgment Day.
Therefore, the interviewer was happy to see The Eradicator’s on-screen partner, Dominik, lose tonight on Raw. At one point, Kelley broke off her relationship with Mami due to the latter growing closer to Irvin. All in all, the WWE Universe seems to enjoy the banter displayed by the duo on social media. As a result, they have integrated it on-screen as well.
While Dom lost his match against Gunther, Ripley appeared in a few backstage segments on the show. Most notably, she confronted Damage CTRL leader, Iyo Sky, after the faction showed up on Raw. Furthermore, the Women’s World Champion met her WrestleMania opponent, Becky Lynch, laughing at her after The Man got into a heated back-and-forth with Liv Morgan.
Dominik Mysterio’s WrestleMania plan seemingly teased on Raw
While “Dirty” Dom might’ve failed to beat The Ring General, it looked as if he might have another star to be worried about. Following his match, the former North American Champion was being treated backstage. As expected, the rest of The Judgment Day cheered him up as well. However, there was one person present there as well: Andrade.
The recently returned star checked up on Dominik. Interestingly, the 26-year-old told his teammates to watch out for him. Therefore, a program at WrestleMania between the two Latino superstars might be planned. Last week, the pair had a brief backstage interaction as well.
Andrade made his “debut” on the latest episode of the show. The former United States Champion defeated Apollo Crews in a short but hard-hitting bout. It will be interesting to see how El Idolo’s road to WrestleMania plays out after his interaction with Dom.
