“She was actually pitching someone jumping her in the maternity ward “ – Stephanie McMahon reveals incident when Becky Lynch proposed to work amid pregnancy

Becky Lynch and Stephanie McMahon

Stephanie McMahon, WWE’s chief brand officer, alleges Becky Lynch presented an idea in which “The Man” was jumped in a maternity unit. Stephanie said on Bill Simmons’ podcast that “The Man” was not only eager to work while being pregnant but that he was actively suggesting angles centred on her pregnancy.

Stephanie said, “I kept talking to Becky all during her pregnancy and after, she was actually pitching someone jumping her in the maternity ward.”

Lynch revealed her pregnancy on the May 11th, 2020 episode of Raw, when she handed over the Raw Women’s Championship to Asuka, who had won the Money In The Bank briefcase the night before.

Lynch gave birth to her daughter, Roux, in December while engaged to fellow WWE Superstar Seth Rollins. Despite the fact that the conversation was still light at this point, Stephanie’s statement came out as dead serious.

Stephanie McMahon is the new Interim Chairwoman and CEO of WWE

Over the last few days, WWE’s organizational structure has undergone numerous unexpected modifications. Stephanie McMahon has temporarily taken over as the company’s interim CEO, and many wrestling fans are wondering if she will be able to permanently replace her father, who stepped down following claims of misbehavior.

The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported on June 15 that the WWE’s board of directors was looking into allegations that McMahon had agreed to pay a US$3 million (S$4.16 million) settlement to an employee. The alleged arrangement included a one-time payment of US$1 million and a five-year payment plan for the remainder of US$2 million. The employee, who has since left the company, is prohibited from discussing or “disparaging” the elder McMahon, according to the non-disclosure agreement signed in January 2022.

Indeed, Vince’s misconduct has tarnished the organization’s image. Could Stephanie McMahon be the harbinger of a new WWE era? Wrestling fans should have all of their questions answered over the next few months.
