Every superstar dreams of performing in their home country and in front of their home fans. This year’s Elimination Chamber event is going to be held in Perth, Australia. With top superstars like Grayson Waller and Rhea Ripley already on the card, another Aussie has received the opportunity to perform in front of her home crowd.

Indi Hartwell and her partner Candice LeRae will battle Asuka and Kairi Sane in the kickoff show. Prior to the show, many wrestling fans voiced their disappointment with the Aussie star not being on the card for the event. It was announced after the press event of the Elimination Chamber.

The Kabuki Warriors won the Tag Team titles on the January 26, 2024 episode of SmackDown. Since then, they have defended their titles against the teams of Natalya and Tegan Nox and KC2. Hartwell, unfortunately, hasn’t been as successful as she was in NXT, with no gold on her shoulder yet. She was also eliminated in the last chance battle royal to qualify for the Women’s Elimination Chamber match.

Hartwell and LeRae are getting their very first opportunity to win the title on the bigger stage. It will be a huge moment for the 27-year-old to win the championships in front of her home crowd. However, it won’t be that easy, as they have to go through the dangerous pairing of the Kabuki Warriors. It will be interesting to see whether they defy all the odds and become the new champs or not.

On the SmackDown episode after WrestleMania Kickoff, WWE announced that there would be 12-man and 12-woman Elimination Chamber qualifying matches. However, Indi Hartwell’s name was not mentioned among those 12 superstars. The 27-year-old took to X and questioned Pearce for not putting her in the qualifying matches.
