“Beat The Clock”: Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey to collide in a stipulation match on Smackdown

The Baddest Woman on the Planet

Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair have been involved in a massive rivalry since the start of the year. The rivalry between the two kicked off when the Baddest Woman on the Planet made her return to the company at Royal Rumble. She went on to win the battle royal match and decided to go after the Smackdown Women’s Championship.

Flair has been holding on to the title since the day she exchanged the title with Becky Lynch, post the WWE Draft 2021. Two of the biggest Superstars on the roster today, they collided for the first time at Elimination Chamber – where Rousey and Naomi successfully managed to pin Flair and Sonya Deville.

Their second collision took place at the Grandest Stage of Them All – Wrestlemania. In the co-main event of the first night, Ronda Rousey managed to tap Flair out – but the referee failed to see it! Eventually, Charlotte Flair managed to pin the UFC Hall of Famer and retain the Smackdown Women’s title.

Post the controversial loss, Ronda Rousey challenged Charlotte Flair for the title once again, at Wrestlemania Backlash, and this time with the I Quit stipulation. The match has been announced officially, but the contract signing for the same took place on the latest episode of Smackdown!

The segment ended with both the Superstars signing the contract. But the latest tweet from WWE’s official Twitter handle, seems to suggest that they have an interesting match coming up next week on Smackdown. The Queen and The Baddest Woman on the Planet will be colliding in a Beat The Clock “I Quit” challenge.

Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair had an eventful contract signing

Contract Signing Segment

The contract signing segment kicked off the latest episode of Smackdown. While Rousey kept mentioning that she made Flair tap out, the Queen kept pointing out that she continues to hold the Smackdown Women’s Championship. Soon Drew Gulak came out with the contract.

Charlotte Flair was the first one to sign the contract – and she then went on to attack Ronda Rousey with kendo sticks. But soon the tables turned and Rousey got hold of the stick. While she got hold of Flair for a few moments, Gulak had to bear the ultimate brunt as he got locked into an armbar!
