Charlotte Flair hints at her WWE return; names her next opponent
Charlotte Flair
Charlotte Flair is one of the top most names in the history of women’s wrestling. She has many accolades to her name. She is a record 6 time WWE RAW Women’s Champion. Not only this, she is also the 6 time WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion.
She also became the first woman to headline a pay per view event (now Premium Live Event). She has faced almost every possible opponent that has ever worked for WWE. She has also given to the WWE Universe many astonishing matches to be cherished for a lifetime.
Currently, Charlotte is out of the squared circle because of injury. Her last match was at WrestleMania Backlash against Ronda Rousey. In the ‘I Quit’ match against her, Charlotte tapped out owing to Rousey’s lock. The lock supported by the armchair was so grave that Charlotte had to take leave from the ring.
She has been on leave since that day. In the midst of her recovery, she tied the knot with Andrade El Idolo. Reports revealed that her leave was partly for her wedding. However, it’s been a long time since both her reasons have happened and fans are expecting her return anytime soon.
Charlotte Flair may soon return to the ring
Now it seems that Charlotte will be returning soon. This weekend’s WWE’s Most Extreme Moments Countdown that is aired on FOX had Charlotte Flair with them where she disclosed her future plans regarding her in-ring action. She said that she is all eyes to Bianca Belair as well as the WWE RAW Women’s title.
This one statement was enough for her fans to go crazy over. The fans have been waiting for a long time to receive any kind of hint about her return. She has appeared in multiple interviews but hasn’t given any clear hint until this weekend. Thus, it makes her return more probable.
Whatever Charlotte’s take on her return is, we have her possible opponent Bianca Belair going against Bayley at Extreme Rules for the title in a ladder match. The two women are equally hungry for the title. We can only wait and see where the WWE RAW Women’s title lands up this weekend.
