“I was really hoping that I could get into that with Triple H” – When Charlotte Flair planned a feud storyline with The Game

Recently, one of Charlotte Flair’s 2020 interview went viral, where she claimed that she has always wanted to work on a show with Stephanie McMahon. She stated in the interview that she hoped her run in NXT would lead to that opportunity. Charlotte discussed her future plans with the twins on a 2020 episode of “The Bellas Podcast.” When the subject of working with Stephanie McMahon came up during the interview, Nikki expressed her eagerness to see that storyline.

She said, “Me too! I keep pitching it. I hope they go there. Because I spent some time in NXT recently, I was really hoping that I could get into that with Triple H. Being, like the brat, and then him being like, ‘I made you!’ Because of NXT. But … maybe later down the road.”

The Queen was written off TV due to an injury she received at the hands of Rousey during the match at WrestleMania Backlash, according to the storyline. As it stands, Charlotte was given some time off by WWE prior to her marriage to AEW star Andrade Eldolo.

At this point in her career, she is a 13-time world champion. Charlotte Flair has won 15 titles as a singles wrestler and one as part of a tag team with Asuka. Despite her impressive credentials, it’s safe to imagine that tying or surpassing her father’s historic world title record is high on her bucket list. Given how competitive she’s been depicted over the years, creating a storyline focused on her obsessing over this feat might not be a terrible idea. And it goes without saying that the WWE universe is looking forward to her reentry to the world of wrestling entertainment.
