There was once a time when Charlotte Flair was rumored to have AEW aspirations. However, she has left all those hopes behind as the Queen has signed a new contract with WWE. It was reported earlier this week that the 14-time Women’s Champion has locked down a hefty deal with the company.

As per Fightful Select via. Ringside News, WWE has locked down Charlotte Flair. However, this new contract includes an increase in compensation in comparison to her previous contracts. Besides, as per some, it is one of the highest-paid women’s contracts in WWE history.

Fightful has learned that Charlotte Flair agreed to a contract extension with WWE recently that will keep her with WWE for several more years. Madusa had said on her podcast recently that she'd heard this as well, and it took quite a while for people within the company to hear the same.

Flair might have signed a contract with WWE. However, she is currently out of action due to a knee injury suffered a couple of weeks ago on SmackDown. Moreover, this new contract has sparked speculation about Flair winning the World Title over 16 times and finally breaking her father’s record.

Charlotte Flair suffered a serious injury on SmackDown. Although, at first glance, her injurious appeared minor, however, after a few hours fans heard that the injury sustained by the Queen was serious and would require her to stay out of action for 9 months.

According to some reports, Charlotte is set to undergo several surgeries in the upcoming weeks. She has suffered a torn ACL, a torn MCL, and a torn meniscus. All these injuries were suffered by the queen during the commercial when she fell from the rope.

Moreover, the Queen has also injured her neck. Although the nature of the neck injury is not serious at the moment, Her fans have wished her a speedy recovery. Besides, the 14-time Women’s Champion is most likely to miss most of the major international events in 2024.
