WATCH: Charlotte Flair makes her in-ring return in a ‘title-winning’ fashion

The recent episode of SmackDown brought the audience back to life with probably the best episode of the year. With back-to-back storylines and spine-chilling action, the SmackDown episode is sure to linger in the hearts of all wrestling enthusiasts for a long time. As ‘The Queen’ walked down to the ring, the fans were left spellbound.

Charlotte, last seen in the WWE ring in May 2022, ensured that the WWE Universe did not enter a new year without her in the storyline. Returning to the ring to take her revenge, Charlotte made sure she gave a great response to her rival. Ronda Rousey was responsible for Flair’s broken arm, which has kept her away from the ring since then. 

Ronda Rousey faced Raquel Rodriguez for the title opportunity. Raquel stood up to everyone’s expectations as she faced the former WWE SmackDown Champion. Despite ruling the ring for the majority of the time, Rousey marked her win. She, along with Shayna Baszler, had hardly celebrated their win when Charlotte Flair spoiled the celebration with her theme. The audience expressed their delight at her return as they screamed at the top of their voices. Fans can get a glimpse.

Ronda Rousey was the last person to feel great about Flair’s appearance and was utterly shocked at the unexpected return. Rousey, however, welcomed Charlotte with open arms as she taunted ‘The Queen’ for her broken arm. Charlotte stepped back from giving a response to her and challenged her for the title. Rousey’s ego prevented her from backing out, and she accepted the challenge as she dropped the belt between them.

Charlotte Flair becomes the new owner of the ‘blue belt’

The year’s last WWE Live went on to become one of the most ‘happening’ SmackDown episodes of the year. Charlotte Flair’s return is a huge event in and of itself. But she went on to win the championship on the same day. This marked another title win in her WWE run.

Charlotte slammed her boot against Ronda Rousey as soon as she handed over her title to the referee. Before she could analyze what had just happened, Charlotte took Shayna Baszler out of the match’s scenario with the same kick. As the two stars battled it out, Charlotte emerged victorious and became the new WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion.

Charlotte’s win was a clear indication from the company to its audience that the upcoming year would be more enthralling and fun-filled.
