Chelsea Green’s tag title reign as champion has been in jeopardy ever since the injury of her partner Sonya Deville was revealed. Recently, on RAW, Chelsea announced that she would hold tryouts in order to get a new partner who would be crowned the new champion with her. Piper Niven returned to invade the tryouts and forcefully made herself Green’s new partner and the Women’s Tag Team Champion. Green finally broke her silence after the incident.

The Tag Team Champion took to Twitter to respond to this invasion from Niven. She talked about the incident, asking if this was allowed. Green further added that Piper should have put her name on the list of participants. Chelsea was running an internet campaign called “Chelsea’s Got Talent” to find her partner. The Champion further affirmed Niven’s response as she acknowledged Piper as her tag partner.

Chelsea Green won her title back in July with her former partner, Sonya Deville. However, due to an injury, Sonya was sidelined from television programming. According to rumors, the plan was to vacate the Women’s Tag Titles to crown a new champion in the upcoming weeks. However, this new direction of pairing Green with Piper Niven seems like a spontaneous decision as of now.

During the segment, Niven attacked the duo of Kayden Carter and Katana Chance. It can be speculated that they are the next in line for the Championship opportunity. It is going to be interesting to see the unlikely duo of Chelsea and Piper as Tag Champions on RAW.

Chelsea Green recently talked about her latest run in WWE. She said she has started to trust her own instincts as of now. Green added that she wanted the creative team and WWE to let her be herself. She said, “I just, so badly, wanted them to let me be me.”

In a conversation with Corey Graves on his show After the Bell, Chelsea Green was talking about her run in WWE after being released earlier. She said she wanted to do her own character. She wanted to have her own punchlines along with her own promos, designed by her for herself. Green wanted to be unique and show more of herself in her run.

Furthermore, Green went on to say that the worst that can happen is that she will get released again. The Tag team Champion said she is not afraid to get released anymore. Green has been a fancy superstar ever since her return to the company. 

The essence of her real-life personality can be seen in her character lately. It is likely to be said that her future is bright in the company as she continues to flaunt her style and personality in sports entertainment. It is going to be interesting to see her dynamics with Piper Niven as they continue their reign as an unlikely duo.
