One of the greatest sports legends who has succeeded in becoming well-known all over the world is Chris Jericho. One of the key factors contributing to AEW’s success in the wrestling business is Jericho, who is now associated with the organization.
One of the rare wrestlers who excelled at being a heel and even a babyface, Chris has always been a crowd favorite. Y2J recently discussed the possibility of pro wrestling being an Olympic sport in the near future on the Jericho Podcast.
Chris stated that although there is wrestling in the Olympics, a sport can have more than one version, and he wants to propose adding professional wrestling as a second Olympic sport. Since professional wrestling will be on a new level following this, this would be fantastic and people would want to see it.
Chris Jericho said, “I literally want to go in front of the IOC, the International Olympic Community, and pitch pro wrestling as an Olympic sport. Now, you might go, ‘How can you do that? It’s all,’ now, hold on. Stop right there. Gymnastics, pairs gymnastics, figure skating, pairs figure skating, what is that? It’s two people working together to put on the best performance possible … There is no way we could not do the same with pro wrestling.”

Is Chris Jericho’s return to WWE not likely to occur?
In a recent Howie Mandel interview, Chris Jericho discussed rejoining the WWE and shared his thoughts on the subject. He expressed a very intriguing perspective as he said that, despite being under contract with AEW, he might not be able to accomplish it anytime soon.
Although a crossover between the two companies would be fantastic, Chris had another concept in his head that would never come to fruition. Chris said that because the two businesses are operating at very different levels, this incident won’t happen again any time soon.
This would have been fantastic, but Jericho believes that AEW is currently living in a different reality. Jericho is receiving a lot of animosity as a result of these events, which have hurt the reputation he worked so hard to build over the years.
