Former WWE superstar Lana, aka CJ Perry, has evolved a lot in the wrestling business. Fans already knew that she could talk well on the mic, but her wrestling improved a lot in the latter stages of her run. For all of her success and knowledge, she thanked WWE legend John Cena.

Perry and Cena met at The Iron Claw movie premiere. She took to her X account and personally thanked him for teaching her everything, be it wrestling, business, or storytelling. Furthermore, the AEW star urged her followers to watch the upcoming pro wrestling-based movie.

Perry made her debut in the WWE alongside her real-life husband, Miro, in 2013 on an episode of NXT. When the Bulgarian Brute made his debut on the main roster a year later, he went undefeated for a long time. Rusev and Lana started a storyline with Cena at the start of 2015, feuding over the United States Title. Although Rusev lost the title at WrestleMania 31 to Cena, he and Lana spent a lot of time together talking about the wrestling business.

Perry is right now working for AEW, and she is managing a former WWE superstar, Andrade El Idolo. Although she and Cena met at a movie premiere, the chances of them interacting in the WWE ring seem unlikely. The Cenation Leader has a lot of commitments outside WWE, as he is scheduled to work in a lot of movies in the future. 

CJ Perry praises the United States Champion Logan Paul’s athleticism

Although CJ Perry is currently working at AEW, she has been keeping a close eye on the rival company, WWE. Evidently, she was impressed by the current United States Champion, Logan Paul, and even praised his athleticism on social media.

Wrestle Ops shared a clip of the viral mid-air clash moment between Logan and Ricochet at this year’s Royal Rumble. Perry took to X and praised Logan for his athleticism. She is amazed by the fact that, even though he is not a trained wrestler, he was able to grasp the basics of professional wrestling so quickly.

Incredible how athletic Logan Paul is. I am so impressed by how quickly he has picked up professional wrestling.

Not only Perry, but many superstars have praised Logan for taking the wrestling business seriously. The Maverick will defend his United States Championship against the winner of the eight-man tournament.
