CM Punk drops a massive hint about his WWE return on the heels of using an element of this year’s Survivor Series

There’s a reason why CM Punk is the epitome of chaos. Amidst the blitzkrieg of his WWE return rumors, he dropped some more teases on his Instagram story. After working out last afternoon, Punk adroitly disclosed that he burned 666 calories. Moreover, The Best in the World had his heart pumping at 157 bpm. That makes the fans wonder why he’s working out so rigorously.

Not only that, Punk even used Faith No More by War Pigs, the official cover artist of this year’s Survivor Series. That could end up being nothing at all, but it has got everyone riled up. Going by what the reports say about CM Punk’s WWE status, they’re all bleak. Not even a single media outlet is signaling Punk’s homecoming in Chicago next Saturday.

In a month-old update by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, he clarified that if WWE thinks they need Punk, they can have him anytime. However, the WWE higher-ups told Sapp that they’re not in talks with The Second City Saint. A lot of fans have been hoping that WWE could put off a shocker at the last minute.

At this point, it seems a hit or miss case with CM Punk. If he were to return next weekend, the WWE talent would potentially know it the day of Survivor Series. The top brass of WWE officials haven’t notified anyone of them about Punk coming back. Nonetheless, his recent Instagram story has caught the attention of the fans.

Still, the teases continue to pour in. And this time around, it was from the man, CM Punk himself. Some people are wondering whether Punk could return to AEW following his abrupt firing in September. However, there’s no concrete update on the same except for mere speculation. As of late, a masked devil in AEW has invoked a feeling among fans about whether it could be CM Punk.

Is CM Punk the man Shinsuke Nakamura has been looking for?

Again, this theory has solely erupted on social media itself. In recent weeks, Shinsuke Nakamura has cut numerous cryptic promos in Japanese, scouting his next big victim. The wording he used during his address made fans wonder if he’s pointing towards CM Punk.

The excerpt from Shin’s segments has also coincided with some of Punk’s WWE theme song lyrics. This week on Raw, Nakamura continued to call out his unnamed target. As WWE heads towards Survivor Series, it has given some folks a strong hope that the teases will bear fruit in Chicago.

Far from reality, unfazed by the sullen reports, the fans could be setting themselves up for disappointment. However, in pro wrestling, they say “never say never.” In a matter of 10 days, the pro wrestling world will know whether they have been too impractical or whether miracles happen.
