It needs to be said that destiny threw a tantalizing cannonball at CM Punk on his 45th birthday. However, he’s always been an astute fellow and has mastered the art of not giving too much away. He did the same when asked about his potential appearance at next month’s Survivor Series event in Chicago.

Speaking on 670 The Score, the former AEW Superstar was hit with the hottest debate going on right now. The viewers turned up the volume to hear what Punk would say in return. However, he wondered whether the fans were asking for him to be there at Survivor Series. Punk followed it up by saying that he’s aware that tickets are hard to find.

They're asking if I'm going to be there? I think it's sold out. I think tickets are hard to get.

That was a smart reply from someone who’s been in that situation many times. Further, CM Punk admitted that he doesn’t want to burst anyone’s bubble. At the moment, he’s happy to be at home, enjoying the beautiful weather in Chicago. Moreover, Punk said that his dog, Larry, has ruptured his ACL and he needs to be with his son. The former World Champion did not place too much emphasis on his future with WWE.

So far, the reports state that Punk hasn’t signed a deal with WWE, and neither the company is going after him. Ever since getting fired from AEW, the Second City Saint hasn’t issued a single comment on what transpired between him and Tony Khan. The AEW CEO accused Punk of being detrimental to his life. The backstage mess at All In completely stirred the pot, and the rest is history.

Is WWE secretly preparing for CM Punk to compete at Survivor Series?

Just a gentle reminder to begin; whatever is about to follow is just to connect the dots over the current fan speculation. In the wildest of scenarios, some fans believe that WWE is slowly building up towards a CM Punk vs. Shinsuke Nakamura match at Survivor Series. Exactly how? Let’s find out.

Last week on Raw, Nakamura cut a backstage promo in Japanese, and he affirmed his desire to face someone who could set him free. Those lines are an excerpt from Punk’s Cult of Personality theme song. Moreover, a few weeks ago on Raw, Shinsuke used Punk’s finishing maneuver, the GTS, to put Ricochet away.

To add fuel to the fire, the official Instagram handle of USA Network dropped an eyeball emoji over the move. Of course, all this may end up being nothing. However, with Survivor Series 2023 rolling through Chicago’s Allstate Arena, there will always be a chance that Punk might want to turn up.
