The most-awaited and highly rumored return of CM Punk looks to take shape on social media. WWE has been giving hints about it over the past months on their weekly shows. Grayson Waller contributed to the hints, as he posted an image referencing Punk’s promo in its caption. But for the first time, CM has taken solid action, as he commented on Waller’s post to sarcastically show his love.

The Instagram post by Grayson showed him sitting on the commentary table alongside Corey Graves. The comment claimed him to be the best commentator, saying that nobody could touch him. The same thought was put down by The Second City Saint during his famous pipebomb promo. As this was related to Punk, he commented only “?” and officially interacted with a current WWE star.

The comment would mean for the Chicago-made star to show his inclusion in the race for best talker. Waller has not responded to the comment and is not likely to down and take a follow-on. But this comment and added modifications from WWE’s end have made it crystal clear that Punk’s return will be sooner.

It is likely for The Best in the World to appear at Survivor Series 2023 in front of his home crowd of Chicago. It would be interesting to see how WWE would fit him in current storylines. Or it would be just a segment from Punk to address the WWE Universe about his return to the Stamford-based promotion.

Grayson Waller comments on Kevin Owens’ suspension on SmackDown

November 10, 2023, episode of SmackDown saw Kevin Owens being the guest commentator. But the Aussie Icon Grayson Waller did not take it in the right way and provoked him. Waller poured water on The Prize Fighter and verbally assaulted him to get the worst out of him and walked away from the ring.

The moment had Owens show his calm but his rage rose later as he ran away to attack Waller along with Austin Theory. This reason was enough for GM Nick Aldis to suspend him as he lost his cool while being a commentator. It can be seen that Grayson was successful in getting under the skin of Kevin.

To celebrate his achievement, Grayson took to Instagram to post a picture of him pouring water on Owens. The perfect click saw Kevin being helpless even when the Arrogant Aussie was interrupting him. Waller even wrote, Suspended, in the caption to show the Canadian’s condition as of now.
