CM Punk is one of the most famous and controversial superstars in WWE. Ever since his return to WWE, fans were excited to see him go against several top superstars. However, Punk suffered a triceps injury that ruled him out of WrestleMania, disappointing all the wrestling fans. 

Now, after a successful triceps surgery, he revealed when he is expected to be fully back in the ring. During a conversation with TNT Sports, The Second City Saint revealed that it will take almost 6–8 months before he is fully cleared to compete in the ring again. Punk admitted that injuries are a part of sports, and this is what happens to athletes regularly.

Punk further added that he is not in any rush to compete in the ring again. He made getting better and healthier his top priority. He suffered an injury during the Royal Rumble match when he landed awkwardly on his arm while taking the Future Shock DDT. Punk was unable to win the match, as Cody Rhodes eliminated him to win.

The WWE Universe was so excited for CM Punk and Seth Rollins to finally have a go at each other at WrestleMania. However, with the triceps injury, he will miss the show of shows, as even after a successful surgery, it will take time to fully recover. Only time will tell when The Best in the World will make his return again.

While speaking with TNT Sports, Punk said that The Rock’s return is fantastic, and will only benefit the company. The 45-year-old star also compared this return to the one he made a decade ago while doing a program with Punk, saying the landscape has completely changed now. 

I think it's fantastic. Ten Years ago, I was the guy who was wrestling The Rock when he came back, and now ten years later, he's coming back, and I think the landscape has completely changed, right? WrestleMania is two nights now. It's even bigger. His coming back only helps. I always say high tide raises all ships.

Punk certainly made his presence felt even while being injured at the WrestleMania XL press conference. He was a part of the panelists’ team with another injured star, Big E, and Pat McAfee, and he even said some controversial things during the segments. Fans are praying for his quick recovery and wishing that he soon gets cleared for his in-ring return.
