Since The Rock has returned to WWE, the whole wrestling landscape has completely changed. When he became a heel, he took a shot at every other superstar who came his way. However, there’s one superstar whom The Rock hasn’t paid full attention to yet, and that is CM Punk

After the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, The Best in the World gave an interview to Cathy Kelley backstage. During the conversation, Cathy brought his attention to the fact that The Rock didn’t talk about him earlier during his segment with Cody Rhodes. Upon hearing that, CM Punk‘s response was rather quirky.

The Second City Saint stated that he was glad when The Great One returned to the Stamford-based company. However, he further added that he was even more glad about the fact that Rocky didn’t talk about him at all. Punk admitted to the fact that he would cross paths with everyone in the future, thus teasing a potential feud with The Brahma Bull.

I am glad The Rock's back... and it's good to see that he knows his role and he kept his mouth shut. Anything goes here in this new era in WWE. With me being back, I'm gonna cross paths with everybody sooner or later.

The Rock and CM Punk will both be a part of WrestleMania 40, as Punk will be on the commentary table during the match between Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre. Meanwhile, The Great One will wrestle in his first WrestleMania match after 8 long years against the duo Rollins and Rhodes alongside Roman Reigns in a tag team match. With The Second City Saint already teasing a potential feud, it will be interesting to see what the future holds for the two legends.

Swerve Strickland talked about his experiences with CM Punk in AEW

CM Punk had a difficult past with many superstars in AEW. As such, AEW co-owner Tony Khan terminated his contract due to a physical altercation with Jack Perry. However, AEW superstar Swerve Strickland had a completely different experience with The Best in the World at the Jacksonville-based company.

The 33-year-old gave an interview to Bootleg Kev and talked about his interactions with Punk during his days at AEW. He stated that from the very first day, the 45-year-old made him feel comfortable by hilariously photobombing his photoshoot. Swerve described his first interaction with him as great and positive.

I was his last TV match. The All-Star tag match on Collision. I had great experiences with him. Didn’t interact with him a lot, but I always had positive interactions. My first day there, I was taking my photos and renders, and he jumped in and photobombed it. I never even spoke to him or had an introduction, but that was his first interaction to me. I was like, ‘This is cool, that’s dope.

Many fans expected him to repeat the same behavior just like he had in AEW, but the change has been seen since he returned to WWE. Punk was often seen visiting the Performance Center and giving his valuable advice to the younger generation of superstars.
