In all seriousness, CM Punk has once again collected mass around his name. After what happened during that All Out media scrum, all sources are heading against him. Dave Meltzer recently reported that people in AEW are trying to buy-out Punk’s remaining contract with themselves. Not only the management is trying to get rid of him, backstage there is no sympathy for Punk as well.
Ever since the rumours started circling around regarding CM Punk’s possible AEW departure, the next obvious topic left for internet was to speculate about his WWE return. Despite knowing the strained relations between the two parties, some believe that the unlikely happening could take place.
WrestleVotes recently told Louis Dangoor of Give Me Sport that he’s mugged up some information about Punk’s WWE move in the past few days. When Triple H took over back in June, there was reportedly no interest in working with Punk, but things might have possibly changed by now. There’s still bad blood among the two and things need to get toned before initiating any agreement.
“I did ask over the last couple of days, and it has softened a little bit from what I understand. I still think there’s animosity. I still think there’s a lot of pieces that need to be picked up between the two of them specifically. But Hunter, learned from Vince [McMahon] and Vince made amends with everybody.”
CM Punk and Triple H hold personal grudges with each other

The spat between Punk and Hunter is a very popular topic among those who have kept a close record of the same. They just never really got along and believing them being on the same page is as hard as imagining a Styles Clash to someone like Braun Strowman, welp I fear that was a lame example.
Still, besides their personal differences, Triple H has been very open about his thoughts on possibly working with CM Punk professionally. Adding up on the latest from WrestleVotes, suggesting the door still not closed for Punk, anything can happen. We have already seen crazy things this year including Cody Rhodes’ WWE return and Vince McMahon retiring in all sorts.
Nothing definitive can be said in the progression between CM Punk and WWE as both parties are far from contacting each other for now. No talks have been started between them, as first, CM Punk has to clear up the current situation with AEW.
