The Best in the World, CM Punk, returned to WWE at Survivor Series. He has been one of the main attractions for WWE and he is currently the hottest topic in professional wrestling. It looks like WWE has a proper plan for the Second City Saint for WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia.

According to Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE is planning a match between CM Punk and Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania. It is a locked plan at the moment for Night 1. The two stars have also been involved in a feud in which they have mentioned each other in some segments and promos.

Moreover, the Voice of the Voiceless has announced himself for the Royal Rumble match. He is all set to compete at the event after almost 10 years. Besides, it looks like Punk will be headlining WWE Mania. Being on the main event of the Show of Shows was one of the reasons why Punk left WWE in 2014.

Apart from CM Punk vs Seth Rollins, WWE has other plans for the Showcase of Immortals this year. As per rumors, WWE might plan Jey Uso vs. Jimmy Uso for WrestleMania 40. In essence, Roman Reigns might also be seen defending his undisputed title against The Rock or Cody Rhodes.

Randy Orton heaped high praise on CM Punk

Randy Orton and CM Punk have been a part of professional wrestling for a long time. They have been peers in the locker room and have worked together in the company on numerous occasions. In his recent interview, Orton heaped high praise on Punk and even went on to call him mature.

In his interview with Kayla Braxton on WWE’s The Bump Show, the Apex Predator said that it has been a long time since Punk left WWE. Moreover, he admitted that the Second City Saint has matured in his life and has changed. Besides, the Viper added that he was happy to see Punk at the Survivor Series. While talking about Punk, Orton said,

He’s matured. He’s more mature. I think us pro wrestlers are never really mature, but he’s more mature than he was, as am I. I think that when I saw him in Chicago, shook his hand, gave him a little hug, and it was nothing but sincere. We were both happy to see each other, and I want him to do great here. I think the feeling is mutual.

Moreover, the Viper expressed that he has not been around the Second City Saint for over a decade. He added that Punk was screwed back in the day, and so was he. However, the Viper revealed that he didn’t feel any kind of rough energy, which makes him think that the Best in the World has changed.
