Cody Rhodes is undeniably a huge name in the wrestling industry right now. His revival in WWE occurred as a part of his grand return to the company at WrestleMania 38. The American Nightmare gained instant success and a massive fanbase, so he went on to headline next year’s WrestleMania. However, he failed to emerge triumphant in the main event and was advised not to go online on social media after the match.

Cody Rhodes spoke with Sports Illustrated and stated how his loss against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39 pissed off the fans. The managerial team on WWE reached out to him and asked him not to go online after his match, as the people were frustrated. Cody stated that his loss was a part of his preparation for the big things to come and did not impact him much. But learning about the crowd’s outrage surprised him a lot.

The American Nightmare added that he was not even planning to go online amidst his busy schedule during that weekend. But knowing that people were mad at him, he kept himself away from social media for a few days. Cody Rhodes stated that he lost in front of his family, and that’s what made his loss embarrassing.

Rhodes concluded by saying that there were so many emotions in that experience that it made him stay away from social media. The Prodigal Son has been feuding with Brock Lesnar since Raw after Mania. Their constant encounters on Raw have made the feud one of the hottest things in recent times.

Cody and Brock battled each other at Backlash, where the former secured victory. They also faced each other at Night of Champions, where the Beast Incarnate vanquished Rhodes. The third chapter between them will culminate at SummerSlam with the final matchup, and that is expected with a stipulation.
