All In 2023 turned out to be the most attended show in professional history. MJF headlined the event, defending his AEW World Championship against Adam Cole. Recently, the former claimed that this wouldn’t be possible without former AEW superstar Cody Rhodes. In an interview with The Ringer, Friedman revealed that he texted the American Nightmare and demanded a match for the first All-In in 2019.

Surprisingly, he replied and offered him a spot on the show. Eventually, it kicked off the rise of one of the best wrestlers today. “And realistically, I don’t think MJF is a thing without Cody Rhodes, and that’s just a f**king fact,” said the 27-year-old superstar. Rhodes is one of the few people MJF has shown respect to.
