This week’s SmackDown saw the unexpected appearance of The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes on the show. He came to the aid of LA Knight, as the latter was on the receiving end of a brutal beatdown from The Bloodline. Following that, Cody Rhodes confronted his long-time rival Nick Aldis backstage after five years of their epic clash in the NWA.

Cody Rhodes made his way to the ring to save LA Knight from a devastating attack by The Bloodline. As Rhodes headed backstage, SmackDown GM Nick Aldis confronted him. The moment generated a lot of buzz on the internet as Rhodes and Nick were part of one of the biggest rivalries in NWA history for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship a few years ago.

Needless to say, Nick Aldis is an amazing athlete. He has had an incredible career in the National Wrestling Alliance. Moreover, Aldis immediately asked the American Nightmare to escort the building. In addition to that, the SmackDown GM and Cody Rhodes had an undisclosed conversation in the office.

Cody Rhodes rushing out to the ring on the Blue Brand might have some implications leading up to the future. It is going to be interesting to see what The American Nightmare must be scheming on SmackDown. As of now, he will compete in the Men’s WarGames match at Survivor Series.

Solo Sikoa sends a two-word message to Cody Rhodes

Cody Rhodes made an emphatic statement after he saved the day for LA Knight. He showed up on SmackDown and confronted Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso. The American Nightmare has been one of the top rivals of The Bloodline. Moreover, Sikoa was the reason Rhodes was unsuccessful in winning the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 39.

Solo Sikoa broke his silence after SmackDown went off the air. The Enforcer of The Bloodline wrote a two-word message, showing his frustration over the intervention of Cody Rhodes in The Bloodline business once again. It looked like he was pissed off to see The American Nightmare again.

Cody Rhodes showing up on SmackDown could be a huge hint towards his mega match against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40. Currently, the 38-year-old is rumored to face the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion at The Showcase of the Immortals. It is going to be interesting to see how the Head of the Table will react to this in the upcoming weeks.
