Cody Rhodes may have displayed bravery and put his bruised body on line to win the match at Hell in a Cell in the terrifying Structure against Seth Rollins, but now Cody Rhodes is being called out for faking the injury by some people including former WWE Wrestler Ariane Andrew, who went by the name Cameron in WWE.

The WWE Universe on Sunday witnessed Cody Rhodes fighting with a swollen purple bicep and chest and squirming in pain throughout the match. Cody fought valiantly against Seth Rollins and won the match. The following night after the main event, Rollins attacked Cody Rhodes with a sledgehammer on RAW.

Pat McAfee on his latest edition of “The Pat McAfee show” discussed the main event of the Hell in a Cell and held those in contempt, who accused Cody Rhodes of faking his injury. McAfee praised the American nightmare for his display of courage and never give up attitude. He lauded Rhodes guts and said that it was “one of the gutsiest performances” he has ever seen.

“So, they’re kind of being vague about that [Rhodes Injury]. They’re just saying in a previous brawl or workout, or something happened nobody knows. A lot of people thought that was makeup. Like that’s what your body actually does when you tear your s**t.”

The injury had happened days before the main event, but Cody Rhodes gave a green flag for his bout with Seth Rollins.

McAfee further continued,

“Early it looked like he was in a s**t ton of pain and then he clicked into some sort of I don’t give a f**k I think because unless they shot that thing up with everything you could possibly shoot. Which would hurt so bad, by the way, just the shooting up part of it would hurt.”

Cody Rhodes is expected to undergo medical operation to repair his pectoral muscle injury. Cody Rhodes may be absent in WWE for at least five months from now, WWE Universe members have speculated him to return at Survivor Series 2022 or Royal Rumble next year, with some believing that “the American nightmare” may also win Rumble next year.
